The Place

This week I am rounding out my "Brew Brunch" category at HighGrain Brewing Co.'s Silverton location. My previous experience here was getting dinner take out with my aunt and I remember the food being pretty stellar. I have been dying to sample and review their brunch menu so here we go.

Location & Parking

The Silverton Taproom & Kitchen location is located on the corner of Plainfield and Montgomery Rd in the former site of the Silverton police station. They have free spacious lot parking for patrons. Happy to report no meters or pay lots this week! No reservation needed/required.

Atmosphere

This place has a local, laid back, neighborhood type of a vibe. Upon entering there is a sign welcoming you to seat yourself and that a server will be over to greet you. I loved this because it takes away the awkward guessing game when you arrive to a place that does not have a hostess stand. This is a solo brunch morning for me, so I opted for a seat at the bar. The decor of the taproom is industrial and simplistic. This is a no pressure place to enjoy a great breakfast. AM cocktail bar service for me included the Blood Orange Bellini . This bellini consisted of your traditional Prosecco with blood orange puree. This drink was fresh, crisp, light, and had a great blood orange flavor to it! Bartenders/servers were young and upbeat.

Order-Up

Brunch Wrap Supreme

Pardon my delayed reaction on this one. When I ordered the Brunch Wrap Supreme, I expected a breakfast burrito to come out to the bar. Instead, what was delivered was a masterpiece. This literally was a brunch version of the Taco Bell, Crunch Wrap Supreme! I was in heaven. This was goetta, scrambled eggs, cheese, home fries, black bean salsa, and crema wrapped in a folded pressed tortilla! All ingredients within the wrap were cooked and seasoned to perfection. I ordered it with a side of fries which served as a perfect sidekick.

Overall Experience

I had a great experience at HighGrain Brewing Co. This a great no pressure chill spot. Staff were friendly, sharp decor, cocktail was on point, and the meal was amazing. The only downside for me was I felt it took a while for my dish to come out. I arrived at 10AM (open time) and it was only me and another couple in the restaurant.

Rating: 3.5⭐

HighGrain Brewing Co. gets 3.5 stars. One star for Atmosphere, Breakfast Cocktail, and Plate. They get half a star for service due to wait time on the the main course. This is a great choice if you are looking for a last minute non-pretentious place to catch up with friends and family that just happens to have great food! Can't wait to revisit!
